The newest magazine in the Canadian fashion milieu originates in Ottawa, and boasts a mix of local and national talent.
Fashion Editor Christopher Massardo tells Modelresource each issue will feature at least one in-house beauty or fashion story with a local team (models, makeup, hair, styling), and that the debut edition sold out in stores.
Look for the winter issue near the end of October.

Long before Jessica Milan took a serious interest in her camera, Modelresource was glowing about her as a model.
The Barrie, Ontario native worked from Taiwan to Milan, and was a favourite runway type in Toronto.
Now photography is the focus, and her work is attracting a lot of attention.
Modelresource is a huge fan of www.lookbookcookbook.com; Milan's "food + fashion" website full of vegan and gluten-free deserts, complete with photos of Toronto models enjoying the cruelty-free results.

The downtown event featured a packed schedule of outdoor shows from local designers and multinational retail brands to an opera-themed presentation and an homage to Jean Paul Gaultier (who is also being fêted with an exhibit at le Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, until October 2nd).
Fashion, music, design and beauty were showcased in the annual four day event, which ran this year from August 3rd to 6th.
