I had a chance to sit and have a few drinks recently with Montréal photographer Donat Boulerice (dfoto.ca), and makeup & hair artist Steve Turpin (who many sources tell me is one of the most promising emerging talents in the trade).
The pair were enthusiastically promoting the forthcoming Winter issue of Z!NK Canada (which is now out) featuring a rather teasing reminder of sun and sand.
"Line in the Sand" features Folio's Kelly Craig, and was styled by the supremely gifted Jenn Finkelstein.

Specs' Amélia
Impressive updates from Specs are becoming common, most recently with news of Amélia's exploits in Spain.
The 5'8" brunette (with B&M in Toronto) was recently flown to Tunisia to shoot her second lingerie campaign for Soleil Sucré - the first was shot in France.
Amélia also shot for MAN Magazine, which resulted not only in the cover, but also a feature article.

Isabelle Trudel's Geneviève Bouffard
New images coming in from Hong Kong of Genèvieve Bouffard.
The Isabelle Trudel model has been overseas for four months, building up a library of editorial including Cosmopolitan (twice), Jessica and West.
She was just planning a return trip to Tokyo - her favourite market - when the 20-year-old was Modelresource's Featured Model.
The CoverModels beauty has now completed that Asian journey and finds herself in Sydney, where Chadwicks snagged her quick bookings in Harper's Bazaar (below), Cosmo and - according to CoverModels owner Viresh Pujara - "some great money jobs."
Her experience has been so successful in fact, the Ottawa model may forego Christmas at home, and stay Down Under with Auckland's Nova Models.

Next's Niomi Pearson for Eye Candy photo: Dany Cianfarra
Modelresource is Montréal right now trudging, through the snowy streets.
Tonight is the Next Montréal holiday party, and the agency has several reasons to feel festive, including long-standing Modelresource fave Niomi Pearson on the cover of Eye Candy, Aitana sharing a cover of Clin d'Oeil and Paulina on the cover of Preston.
Vanessa Perron meanwhile, appears in the latest Elle Canada, photographed by phenomenally talented Modelresource panelist Richard Bernardin.

Ford's Kate Somers (right) in Dazed & Confused
From the moment I saw her...
Here's one more set of reasons Modelresource is such an ardent Kate Somers fanatic.
These jaw-dropping images of the Ford model appear in the December issue of Dazed and Confused, shot by Daniel Sannwald.

That issue is now in print, and I can share with you the outstanding images of the gorgeous Folio duo of Billie-Jazz Marcuzzo and Delphie, captured by Mackenzie Duncan.
Other recent work in the photographer's increasingly impressive portfolio includes a pretty remarkable creative with Giovanni's Sarah Grenier and new Roussel campaign featuring Stylus' Felix.

Specs' Chantal
It's always more fun when you can track a career just as things really get rolling, as Modelresource has been doing with Chantal.
We first told you about the 5'10" redhead in April, when she made her first appearance in LouLou.
Since then the Specs model has launched a successful runway and editorial invasion of Europe, and is now adding an on-screen appearance for a major client to her overseas experience.
Coco avant Chanel is the title of a new film being produced for the prestigious French design house, starring Audrey Tautou.

Next's Lydia Nyilasi for LOU LOU photo: Geneviève Charbonneau
If you followed her travels through Europe a couple of years ago, you'll understand Lydia Nyilasi doesn't think like the rest of us.
Which is why when I learned she was shooting the cover of LOULOU I was excited to read her Model of the Month profile.
In person, the Hamiltonian is one of the quietest, most unassuming models I know. But there's something else going on beneath that lovely exterior that makes the 5'9" blue-eyed, blonde one of my favourite people.
Clients wanting to book Nyilasi had an easier time locating her last year, when the post-secondary student transferred her course load to Toronto's Ryerson University.
Now they'll have to focus their gaze north a few blocks, as Next Toronto moved offices over the weekend, and now resides at the corner of Queen and Spadina.
The phone and fax remain the same, but the Next office can now be found at:
