Jean-François Poirier, following a very solid 2008, is only increasing his momentum in the new year.
The Next model - who Modelresource presented to you in February, April and July of last year - just shot Louis Vuitton, with Aussie model Catherine McNeil.
This most recent campaign adds more lustre to an already impressive portfolio that includes K by Karl Lagerfeld, as well as the newly released L'Essence de Cerruti and Vilebrequin ads.

Richard'sUbah Hassan for Ralph Lauren
Ubah Hassan has quickly established a solid footing in the international fashion scene, appearing in the latest Ralph Lauren campaign.
The Richard's model is a Ralph Lauren favourite, having closed his New York runway in September.
The Somali-born Vancouverite also graces the pages of the latest Vogue Italia, in the "Soul Kitchen" spread shot by Bruce Weber.

Giorgio Armani with Yamal
Modelresource first told you about Yamalback in July, when he was in Milan for the men's shows.
He returned to the Italian fashion capital for the most recent men's collections last week, and despite a recession-addled schedule that led to the cancellation of some shows, the Next model added to his runway résumé, including appearances for Giorgio Armani and Vivienne Westwood; as well as presentations for DSquared2 and ZUELEMENTS.
Yamal is also the current face of Bauhaus, here in Canada.

Folio's Delphie in Glow
Former Modelresource Feautred ModelDelphie makes her first appearance in Glow Magazine this month, photographed by ishi (www.ishistudios.com).
According to Folio booker Alexandre de Bellefeuille, these are the first in a series of soon-to-be-unveiled shoots, before the Isabel Trudel discovery flies to New York (where she is represented by IMG) at the end of her school semester.

Ford's Shelby Furber
The latest Canadian entry into the Ford Supermodel of the World competition heads to the coastal resort town of Budva, Montenegro (as I write this it's sunny and +16°C... or 33° warmer than her hometown of Toronto), to compete in the global finals.
15-year-old Shelby Furber entered during an open call at Ford's Toronto office last summer, and was televised weeks later accepting the Canadian title on CITY-TV.
The 5'10", blue-eyed brunette made a strong start to her runway career at L'Oréal Fashion Week, walking for Lucian Matis, Renata Morales, Evan & Dean, Diesel and Joe Fresh (as well as the high-profile Chanel Resort show in November), and will appear in upcoming editorials for Glow and Cheek Magazine.

Happy New Year!
Modelresource is just getting back into the swing of things, but stuff has certainly been happening while we were relaxing, as you will see by the number of posts in the next few days and weeks.
2009 starts with an update from Hair & Makeup artist Dylan K. Hanson (The Artist Group), who had a busy end to '08 chasing down hard copies of his recent work.
