Kat CALGARY, JUNE 16, 2006: I'm at the Mode International office to interview their most recent model search winner.

While waiting for her to arrive, a massive casting is going on featuring four scouts and a throng of amazing young talent.

One model, Kat, stuck in my head because of the way she absolutely "turned on" when Elite's Matti Gidilevich aimed his digital camera in her direction. The girl leaves an impression.

TORONTO, JULY 10, 2006: I learned Kat will be in town later this week, working through Elite, and is scheduled to shoot Aritzia.
