The 30-year-old LizBell product - a past Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model - appears in both the European and North American campaigns.

Folio's Ryan Martel in Lush
Ryan Martel has been appearing in print with the kind of regularity usually only acheived by girls at the top of their game.
In the Folio model's case however, she is clearly still ascending the modelling ranks, having not yet even worked outside Canada.
These latest tears are from Lush Magazine.

Ford Models Supermodel of The World Canada Finals
Following their cross-Canada search, Ford Canada narrowed down their list of models vying to represent Canada at the next Supermodel of the World contest, and brought the finalists together for one big event.
Tonight, on national television, the winner will be revealed.
Each of the six was brought to Toronto, and given the opportunity to prove themselves worthy of the opportunity to represent this country at next year's finals in New York.
Coverage begins at 10:00 p.m. (9:00 Central) on CityTV.

The former head of scouting for Wilhelmina's network will be scouring the beaches of Southern Ontario this summer.
Anita Norris, who now operates her own agency in London, Ontario, is coordinating Beach Tour 2008.

I don't still have it around, but I remember reading Flare's December issue, and a commitment made then to inject more colour into the editorials.
That's why seeing this story makes me very happy.
Sutherland's Shiya Zhao and Kai (one of the most remarkable new models I've ever met) are featured in a three-girl story (along with Elmer Olsen's Elise) by Nelson Simoneau.

The trio, irrespective of ethnic considerations, looks amazing.
Well done, Flare.

Modelresource told you Tuesday that Rachel Blais will be in Montréal from the 19th to the 30th.
Now Folio is announcing Kelly Craig will be making a near identical stay.
The green-eyed redhead, whose memorable role as "The Oracle" in the Frank Miller's 300 still drives a lot of search engine traffic to Modelresource.ca, is scheduled to be in La Belle Province from 19th to the 28th.

Keeping alive the tradition of Canadians on the ModelMania list of breaking faces is a name familiar to Modelresource readers (and one of the coolest people I know).
Mississauga's Melissa Molson is the second Giovanni model in three months to crack hintmag.com's monthly cabal (the other being Justyna).
Each month this year has seen at least one Canadian face on the highly regarded list.

Here's one reason why those girls should feel pretty sure they're in good hands.
Magalie, the winner of Nadeau's last model search, is just returning from a quick trip to Manhattan, which saw her shoot three pages of Numéro with Greg Kadel and be named Model of the Week on Models.com.
The remarkable 5'11" brunette is represented by Giovanni in Toronto and Montréal, and Trump in New York.
The images below are from another of Manhattan's top photographers, Chadwick Tyler.

Ford Canada's Sasha Stelea looks absolutely stunning, photographed by Edith Maybin.
The images are from Elle.com's story previewing tonight's ACRIA (AIDS Community Research Initiative of America) benefit in New York.
According to Stelea's agent, Jarrett Plyley:
"The event is hosted by Katie Ford and artist Ross Bleckner. It will feature the sale of original works by some of the world’s foremost contemporary artists and photographers, all of the proceeds going directly to ACRIA. The guests will be the tip-top of the fashion industry – designers, editors, photographers, ad, etc."

B&M's Amy Lalonde & Natalie Brown
Amy Lalonde and Natalie Brown and becoming very well known in Canada for their starring roles (in Brown's case, the title role) in CBC's Sophie, which is returning for a second season on Canada's public broadcaster.
The pair of television stars also recently got to put some of their modelling skills to use for Toro Magazine.
Both Brown and Lalonde have long-standing ties to Toronto's B&M agency, and have considerable portfolio's built under that agency's guidance.
Now each has been deemed a Toro Woman by the Canadian men's magazine.
Modelresource gave you a look last week at one of Folio's brightest young stars, Chloe.
Here are two more:
Delphie, to whom Modelresource first introduced you in August, now has her first cover, for (Dress To) Kill.
Her mother agent, Isabelle Trudel, tells Modelresource the blue-eyed brunette will spend this summer in Tokyo with Switch.
Ryan Martel meanwhile, also appears in the Montréal mag, in a rather exceptional story by Nelson Simoneau.

Next's Lindsay Sullivan
Modelresource recently got an early look at the latest offering from ModelCoach.ca; a 30+ minute instructional runway video led by one of the most proficient, experienced and well-spoken models in Toronto.
Lindsay Sullivan (Next), is not only very comfortable on the catwalk, but also in teaching the trade.
The video demonstrates a broad range of topics (posing, arm position, hand placement, creating the appearance of gliding, etc), as well as explaining the appropriate occassions for the different points, and the reasons for each.
Lessons progress at a comfortable pace, which is important because Sullivan goes into a lot of detail on the finer points. Equally important is the teacher's tone and delivery, both of which are encouraging and engaging.
The final portion consists of Sullivan's personal advice, covering areas like how to deal with difficult garments and how dress for castings.
As someone that has sat through many, many runway castings, this is a video I would strongly suggest for a new model looking to make a solid first impression, or models that have runway potential but haven't been successful in the casting process.
One of the most common problems I witness is a lack of confidence in models unsure of how to present themselves. ModelCoach's new video is an excellent remedy for unpreparedness.
One note: this video is specifically tailored to female models, and very few of the comments are revelant to guys.
For about a year now, Mackenzie Duncan has been successfully working the Montréal - Toronto corridor, shooting models in both of Canada's fashion capitals.
Now the intrepid young photographer has announced he is opening a studio in Vieux-Montréal, near the intersection of Notre Dame and Saint-Laurent.
The images below are a preview of Duncan's latest from La Belle Province, featuring Folio's Chloe.
Mississauga's Daria Werbowy will soon become only the second model (after Linda Evangelista) to have her name added to Canada's Walk of Fame.
Despite a career that was almost completely sidelined by the 9/11 terrorist strikes in New York, the native of Poland has established herself as one of the most successful models of the decade, and continues to become a more bankable commodity as her career continues.
Currently her most visible worldwide campaign is H&M's Summer Style, but she's also appearing in about a million other things... like... everywhere.
Especially cool is the fact that I've never heard ANYONE say a bad word about her, and on the occassions I've met her she has been nothing but charming.
The 5'11" Elmer Olsen model will be inducted September 6th, in Toronto.
Congratulations, Daria. We're all very proud of you.

Ford's Melina Querel
RK Stores is releasing its latest campaign and as Modelresource told you last month, the face of this season's looks is Chantale Nadeau's Melina Querel.
There's not much point having a website for Canadian models if you can't give the local talent a bit of a boost.
Right now VMagazine.com and Supreme Management are conducting their 2008 Model Search.
As I write this, five of the top ten positions are occupied by Canadian models, including Ontario's Jacquie Campeau (Chantale Nadeau / Giovanni), and Alberta's Jessica Esposito (Mode), who are both currently in the top five.
This is the same contest that last year launched Amanda Laine (Elmer Olsen) to instant must-book status, when she was picked as the eventual winner.
There is no registration necessary, so I strongly encourage you to take a moment to keep the Canadian momentum going, and vote for one of our own.
