After a brief hiatus to complete high school, one of Canada's brightest lights on the male modelling circuit is back in rotation.

24-year-old Brittney Fisher
Canada's Plus Size Model Search wrapped last week with the crowning of a winner at LG Fashion Week.
Sponsored in part by Specs, the announcement of British Columbia's Brittney Fisher was also an opportunity for agency owner Marie Josée Trempe to announce a full division of plus size models.
As it happens, Specs' own straight-sized star Chantal Stafford Abbott is on the cover of the April LOU LOU (another major sponsor of the model search), which was released at the media event.
Stafford-Abbott has been on a roll in Paris lately, walking for Io Ipse Idem by Romeo Gigli, Commes des Garçons, Izabela Lapinska and Lima Feu (Yohji Yamamoto's daughter), as well as shooting for a Commes des Garçons special for Madame Figaro (Japan) with super cool photographer Sarah Moon.

Angie'sMichael Lepore
Angie's is keeping Modelresource updated on Michael Lepore, currently in Cape Town.
The Ottawa native is placed with Male Model Management in South Africa, and fired off this rather encouraging note from his BlackBerry late last week:
"I've always said that the best part of modelling is being given the opportunity to see the beautiful cities of the world, and Cape Town is just that.
From my first morning here, I knew that I was going to truly enjoy this experience. The mountains and beaches surrounding the city have the ability to put a smile on anyone's face.
Speaking of putting a smile on someone's face, my bookers at Men's Division, Liesel and Chantal, are truly amazing people. Their personalities reflect both positivity and hard work, and these traits carry through in how their agency is run.
As for the market here, there is something for every type of model. From fashion, to commercial, to catalogue, it seems that all types of clients, from all over the world have decided to take advantage of Cape Town's beautiful landscape and weather. And with the financial opportunities that will undoubtedly accompany the 2010 FIFA World Cup, more clients will target South Africa, causing the modelling market here to grow even larger."
Lepore has been with Angie's since he started eight years ago, and is currently that agency's Model of the Month.

It was only a little more than a year ago that Mackenzie Duncan (www.mackenzieduncan.com) first started getting his submissions published.
Now the Montréal-based photographer is showing in regular rotation, with one striking editorial after another.
Here are selections from three of Duncan's latest stories:
Anna Feller (W Models/Elite) shows up in the brand new Z!NK Canada.
Sharing the Kill spotlight are Charlotte Le Bon and Christine Doyon, in a tongue-in-cheek look at the creation a model.
In Z!NK, de Bellefeuille shares a beauty moment with Doyon.

Sutherland's Addison Gill
Of course you knew already that Addison Gill was the winner of 2008's Supreme / V Magazine model search.
Since then, she has walked exclusively for Calvin Klein in New York, added Aquilano e Rimondi, Gianfranco Ferre, Les Copains and Pringle of Scotland in Milan, followed by Barbara Bui, Giambatista Valli and Valentino in Paris.
(Expect to see her in Louis Vuitton, Thursday).
Sutherland booker Brandon Hall tells Modelresource the Caledonia, Ontario, 16-year-old flies home Friday, then fits immediately for a campaign she shoots on Monday.
Meanwhile, magazines and photographers have been lining up to get a chance to work with the 5'10" brunette.
At the front of the line however, was the sponsor of the search that launched Gill to top model status.
Here, in her first ever tearsheets, is Canada's Addison Gill, in V Magazine.

Next's Kelsey Van Mook on Models.com
Modelresource told you Monday about Kelsey Van Mook's opening spot in the prestigious Givenchy show in Paris.
Hours later came another major boost to the Next model's career, as Models.com has now selected the 17-year-old as one of their Top 10 Newcomers for Paris, with the following praise for both the model and her management:
Next's Kelsey not only bagged a peak Paris Fashion Week moment by opening the Givenchy FW 09 show, she also put herself on every editorial watch list in sight. For a girl that has been in careful development by her agency over the past three years, this debut could not be any more spectacular!

Modelresource counted 45 different girls on Givenchy's Parisian runway, Sunday.
Given the French design house's prestige, it isn't surprising many of the top names in the industry were featured.
First out however, was a Next model this website has been praising for more than a year for her serene visage and immaculate runway presence.
