We have nearly recovered from fashion week, and so have time to get caught up on some other updates.
First of all, congratulations to Addison Gill who won Best New Face at Thursday evening's P&G Beauty Awards. We'll have the Sutherland model's new Elle Canada story on Monday.
Top photographer honours went to Chris Nicholls (www.chrisnichollsphotography.com), with Hair Stylist of the Year going to Dylan K. Hanson (Artist Group), and Makeup Artist of the year to Simone Otis.
The best cover went to Fashion Magazine's August 2008 cover featuring Elite's Coco Rocha (shot by Miguel Jacob, makeup by Hung Vanngo), once again demonstrating that models do it better than pop stars and actors.
Speaking of Mr. Vanngo, the Vietnamese-Canadian artist is currently featured in www.makeupmag.com. Something big is coming soon for Vanngo, and we'll tell you about it as soon as it happens.
